Hello again, friends! A big thank you for reading the July 2025 highlights and for sharing your feedback. Your kind words, suggestions, and even the criticisms mean a lot—they truly help me make this blog better for all of us.
As the monsoon continues to sweep across most parts of India, I hope you’re safe and enjoying your philatelic journey. While some regions are dealing with floods, last month was still buzzing with activity for Post Offices and collectors alike. The first half revolved around the 79th Independence Day and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, while the second half brought festive energy with Ganesh Puja—marking the start of the festival season.
This month, our theme is Focus. In philately, staying focused is crucial. With so many releases across the country and the world, it’s easy to give in to FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). We often end up buying items outside our theme, in excess, or with hopes of trading them later—only to realize storage is a hassle and liquidity matters more. As the saying goes: “If you buy what you don’t need, you will soon sell what you do need.”
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the key happenings in Indian Philately last month. And don’t forget—at the end of this post, six fresh quiz questions await you in the Challenge Section. Ready? Let’s dive in!
